Bern, Switzerland and Einstein

We decided to stop in the capital city of Switzerland. Every city has its claim to fame and I was surprised to learn that this is where Einstein worked as a patent clerk and wrote his theory of relativity. The town clock was what he looked at while on the tram to and from work and it is what he thought about to come up with his theories.

Guy and I visited Einsteins apartment. I thought Einsteins report card was quite interesting as it also shows his wife's grades. There is some debate about how much she helped in formulating his theories as she was considered to to be very bright in her own right.
