Hasel Germany

I would have really liked to have spent more time in Switzerland but it was too expensive for us, so we hopped on the train for Germany.

We arrived in a little town of Hasel in Germany where our hosts Freder and Angelika treated us like kings. They took us on a hike to the castle Rotteln which had a museum that the kids enjoyed. They got to build a castle and look at an enchanting witches magic box. In the long history of the castle there was a witch who had been burned.

We noticed a couple of hawks swirliing around the castle while we were walking up the hill. Later, we discovered their nest within the castle walls.
