Roman Pantheon

The 2 millenia old Roman Pantheon that became a church early on and was therefor saved from destruction. We learned that this was the largest dome in the world in its time and that the walls were made 20 feet thick to support the weight of it.

 Since they won't allow you to lay on the floor to take a shot, we ended up with this off center shot of the open dome.
