The top photo is where Julius Caesar was cremated after being stabbed by Brutus. Behind the rock people place fresh flowers. In the background is his temple that was made into a church.Kids listened to Rick Steves walking tour of the forum. I was able to download quite a few of these walking tours for various tourist sites throughout Europe from his website.
